The sad thing that I just realized is that I really don't have anyone to have a heart-to-heart with anymore, at least under these specific circumstances.

Jake and Potter are like my brothers.
Jake's in Ohio.
Potter's in Ann Arbor (or in another state right now).

Drew'd be there for me, but he has to work in the morning. I understand that perfectly well.
Tara is visiting Geoff.

Ryan Straight's in Traverse City, and I've never really had the serious talks with Dan or Jon.
Lauren is definitely a shoulder to lay your head on, but she is at camp.

I think Caitlin is definitely someone I could talk to - shit, she's known me longest - but she's a bit far away for this time at night...and anyway, she's new to older, sometimes depressed Ryan. She needs more time to acclamate herself. :)

Chelsea is in Ypsi.

I guess I'm gonna hafta go it alone tonight. Going up to 7/11 for some smokes, and I think I may mix myself a drink when I get back...
